CRM Comparison Chart 2026: Compare CRMs Side by Side

Updated Sep 21, 2026Pricing verified Sept 2026

Most CRM comparison charts are a wall of ticks with approximate prices. This one is built from our full reviews: pick the CRMs you are actually choosing between, switch between fit, features, pricing, ease of use, support and AI, and set the seat count so the cost column shows what you would really pay each month. Every price is the vendor's own US list price, checked in September 2026, and every column links to the full review.

Quick answer

For teams under 50 people the chart points to HubSpot CRM (free for 2 seats, $9 a seat after), Pipedrive ($14) or Zoho CRM ($14) depending on whether you need marketing, a pure pipeline or the lowest price at 20+ seats. Salesforce is the only CRM here rated Excellent for enterprise. Agencies should look at GoHighLevel ($97 a month flat, unlimited users), startups at Attio (free for 3 seats) and email-led businesses at ActiveCampaign ($15 a month for 1,000 contacts).

Finding your CRM match: six checks before you compare features

Feature tables reward the tool with the most ticks. The right CRM is the one your team will still be using in a year, so run these six checks first and let them decide which columns matter.

  1. Name the pain point you are fixing. Lost follow-ups point to Pipedrive or Freshsales (activity-based selling). Leads going cold after the first email point to HubSpot or ActiveCampaign. No single customer record points to Zoho or Salesforce.
  2. Price the company you will be in two years, not today. Use the seat calculator at your current headcount and at double. HubSpot and Attio are cheapest small and dearest large; Zoho and Freshsales scale most gently; GoHighLevel does not move at all.
  3. List the tools that must connect. Google Workspace, Outlook, your accounting and support software, your website forms. Salesforce and HubSpot have the largest marketplaces; Attio and GoHighLevel the smallest, though both cover the mainstream apps.
  4. Calculate total cost of ownership. Add onboarding fees (HubSpot Professional $1,500), AI add-ons (Freshsales $49 per 100 sessions, GoHighLevel $50 to $97 per sub-account), telephony usage and any partner or admin time. A $14 seat with a part-time admin can cost more than a $25 seat that configures itself.
  5. Prioritise adoption over depth. Pipedrive, HubSpot, monday and Attio are the tools reps open without being told to. Salesforce and Zoho deliver more only if someone owns the configuration.
  6. Trial with real data for a real week. Import your actual pipeline, run your actual follow-up cadence and check the mobile app on the road. Every tool here offers a free plan or a 14- to 30-day trial; the free-plan limits are in our best free CRM guide.

How we rate and price

Every CRM in this chart has a full review scored on the same public rubric: ease of use 25%, features 20%, value 20%, scalability 15%, integrations 10%, support 10%. The chart's five-step ratings are drawn from those reviews. Prices are copied from each vendor's US pricing page and re-checked monthly; the check date is printed on every page. Third-party ratings from G2 are shown as published, never averaged. We earn a commission if you buy through some links, which never changes a rating. The full process is on our methodology page, and the ranked lists are in our best CRM software guide.

Frequently asked questions

What is a CRM comparison chart?

A CRM comparison chart puts several CRM platforms side by side against the same criteria: who they suit, what they cost at real seat counts, which features are included on which tier, how hard they are to set up, and what support you get. Ours covers the CRMs we have reviewed in full and uses prices verified on each vendor's US site in September 2026.

Which CRMs does this chart compare?

Salesforce, HubSpot CRM, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Freshsales, monday CRM, GoHighLevel, Attio and ActiveCampaign. A few show by default; use the picker to swap any in or out, up to six at a time. Every column links to our full review of that tool.

How accurate is the pricing?

Every list price comes from the vendor's own US pricing page, billed annually unless the cell says otherwise, and was checked in September 2026. The seat calculator applies each vendor's rules: HubSpot, Zoho, Freshsales and Attio are free below their seat caps, monday bills a three-seat minimum, GoHighLevel is a flat fee, and ActiveCampaign charges by contacts plus $12 for each extra user. One-off onboarding fees are noted, not added.

Which CRM is best for a small business?

For most small businesses HubSpot CRM is the safest start because the free plan covers two users and Starter is $9 a seat. Zoho CRM is the better buy past 20 seats, Pipedrive if you are sales-only, and ActiveCampaign if email nurture matters more than a pipeline. Our full ranking is in the best CRM for small business guide.

Which CRM is best for enterprise?

Salesforce. It is the only tool in this chart rated Excellent for 500+ users, and its Sales Cloud tiers ($195 to $550 per user) buy customization, territory management and Agentforce AI that the others do not match. HubSpot Enterprise ($150 a seat plus $3,500 onboarding) and Zoho Ultimate ($52) are the credible alternatives for mid-market teams that want less administration.

What does Excellent, Strong, Good, Basic and Limited mean?

They are our five-step editorial ratings for one criterion on one tool. Excellent means best-in-class and included on a mainstream tier. Strong means fully capable with minor gaps or a higher tier needed. Good means it does the job for typical teams. Basic means present but thin or sold as an add-on. Limited means you should look elsewhere for that need. The full rubric is on our methodology page.
